14,418 new Covid cases registered & 302 deaths in India

In the last 24 hours, India registered 14,148 new instances of the novel coronavirus, as well as 302 fatalities from the infection.
According to statistics released by the Union Health Ministry on Thursday (February 24), the country had a total of 30,009 discharges in the past 24 hours, bringing the overall recovery rate to roughly 98.46% and total recoveries to 4,22,19,896.
According to ministry data, the overall number of current COVID-19 cases in India has dropped to 1,48,359 (0.35 percent).
The total number of deaths in the country is currently 5,12,924. The first fatality from the COVID epidemic was recorded in India in March 2020.
Today’s daily positivity rate is 1.22 percent.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 76,35,69,165 samples have been tested for COVID-19 as of February 23. On Wednesday, 11,55,147 of these samples were examined.
